Perspective

This morning while feeding Kaleb I heard a crash-never a good sound. What on earth could Jack have gotten into I wondered. It was like slow motion as I turned the corner to the family room and saw my platinum crystal mikasa vase on the floor in tiny pieces. Oh my gosh I wanted to freak out!! Lately I have been trying to use a different perspective around my house and with my sweet Jack (as he can be trying). For instance when I go out without the boys am I upset the house is a disaster after time with daddy or am I grateful for a great husband who is a killer dad and gives me much needed me time. So am I grateful for a curious little boy who now gives me the opportunity for new mikasa . I will be honest I did a little internal freak out, and Jack got a big consequence, but I will be hitting the outlets this Saturday and I will definitely be looking for a new vase!
